Ginger Ice-Cream Variations

Great variations on an healthy summer ice cream. With sugar or a sugar subsitute and whey protein. With lots of ginger hope you enjoy and yes with some safran if you want!

Ingredients 1 -Chocolate ginger

  • 75 gram sushi ginger
  • 100 gram sugar or sugar subsitute equivelant
  • 1 gram salt
  • 3 gram ginger bread spice
  • 100 gram whey protein
  • 10 gram cocoa powder
  • 2 gram xantham gum
  • 13 gram veg. glycerine
  • 800 ml water
  • optional: Add black toasted sesame
  • Ingredients 2 - Ginger

  • 125 gram sushi ginger
  • 100 gram sugar or sugar subsitute equivelant
  • 1 gram salt
  • 3 gram ginger bread spice
  • 100 gram whey protein
  • 2 gram xantham gum
  • 13 gram veg. glycerine
  • 800 ml water or 50:50 with Coconut water
  • optional: Add black sesame, chili, safran, coconut flakes to taste

 

    Instructions

    1Mix all together with a good blender till you have a smooth texture. Cool down in a fridge and then put into your ice cream machine in mine this takes around 30 minutes. Check how long your machine needs to avoid over freezing.
